Fall / Spring results from the Youth Experience Survey administered in the City and County Schools 2015/16
The DFC will be addressing youth marijuana use and youth alcohol use in the 12-Month Action Plan. This decision was made based on the recent student survey data that shows that marijuana and alcohol are the top two substances used among 6th-12th grade students. In addition, marijuana and alcohol have the greatest impact on the community through court programs, law enforcement arrests for driving under the influence of alcohol, public intoxication, arrests for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and juvenile probation cases for marijuana and alcohol.
